Agency Principals

Robert McNeil, Agency Principal

Robert McNeil, Agency Principal, has been responsible for the strategic direction and overall growth of one of the nation’s most respected public relations firms. He has successfully spearheaded global PR campaigns for a variety of companies that have pioneered innovative technologies in the new economy. Bob has been instrumental in ensuring the success of MGR clients, having created some of the strongest brands in the industry and maintained stable partnerships that encompass overall strategic direction, strategic planning, corporate image and budgeting.

Prior to MGR, Bob gained tremendous experience at Leo Burnett USA where he managed some of the largest brands in the industry, including Philip Morris, Prestone and McDonalds. Bob received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College, and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management.


Susan Rice McNeil, Agency Principal

Susan Rice McNeil, Agency Principal, pioneered one of New England’s first business-to-business agencies. Her strategic direction has helped MGR to maintain a competitive edge and become one of the nation’s most respected PR firms. Susan’s expertise in strategic planning, tactical implementation, and corporate branding and positioning has played an essential role in the success of MGR’s clients. For more than 30 years, Susan has helped launch new technologies, prepared fledging companies for IPO’s and acquisitions, and helped established companies to penetrate and achieve success in new markets.

Prior to MGR, Susan honed her marketing skills at Cabot Communications (currently known as Arnold Communications) where she managed some of the agency’s largest multimedia accounts such as Fidelity Investments, New England Telephone, and Harvard Community Health Plan. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Regis College. Susan has lectured on PR across the country and around the world.
